I'll keep this as simple as I can...
I'm selling this collection of 60 L. S. Lowry postcards that I have owned for the past 40 years...
I am trying to raise money to cover the hire of venues around Manchester and Bolton where I can present my TV Documentary film, "That Fat Bloke from Bolton".
My aim is simple, to help other victims of child abuse become survivors, like me.
I am not a trained therapist and I have no intention to offer the kind of specialist therapy that is often needed to help victims of child abuse come to terms with what happened to them.
However, because I have spent very many years learning the hard way, how to cope with and deal with the devastating effects of being sexually abused from the age of 6 years until I reached the age of 13. I can now confidently offer some very helpful support through showing my film and engaging in discussion with those who cannot find a way to escape from the childhood secrets they have been burdened with for their entire adult lives.
Why I am selling the Lowry cards?
The cost of hiring a small lecture hall in Bolton Library is £120.00. if I hire the hall, I can show the film to 80 people but I am not allowed to charge any admission fee or to promote the sale of my film, so I will need to pay for advertising as well. I am living from my state pension and I have already sold a lot of personal possessions in order to fund parts of the charity that I founded in 2005.
Please bear the above message in mind when you are considering the purchase of my treasured Lawry cards. And please don't try bargaining the price down... I am not a dealer and I have no time to waste on bargain hunters. Thank you.

I have bunched all 60 cards together and photographed them overlapping and with copywrite notices across each block of cards. Any serious collector who is interested in purchasing the cards can write to me and ask for more information about specific cards. CONTACT I am not selling individual cards. I will only sell the whole amount of 60 cards and I will not negotiate the price, so please don't try asking. Remember, I am only selling these cards because I need to raise money to hire venues and advertise the showing of my film in the hope that I may help victims of child abuse become survivors of child abuse.
